Over the past 15 years, Roger and Gary have carefully honed the company’s methodologies, optimised tools and materials and organically refined our ways of working.  We’re thrilled that heritage home-owners in the North East will be able to benefit from our sash window renovation, sash window replacement and sash window paint finishing services, starting from March 2023.

Giles isn’t ‘new’ to the business as such. He’s actually been involved since it was started by Roger back in 2007.  As old school mates they’ve shared many adventures together, not least the journey to grow the company as Giles helped with advice along the way. Already a seasoned woodworker, he’s been working with our team in the South West since mid 2022, learning our ways, our working ‘rhythm’ and most important of all: what we believe to be our unique ingredients for success.

Since Roger, Gary and Giles made the joint decision around the middle of 2022 to expand services into the North East region, there has been a lot of reflection on what makes us a leading provider in the South West and, moreover, how we establish an equivalent service for Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham and Northumberland from ‘Day 1’.

To that end, during the start-up phase in 2023 Giles will be assisted by key members of the South West crew, whilst the search for skilled craftsmen of the right calibre and potential in the Newcastle area is underway.  New recruits will first learn the company’s ways of working and approach to customer service, completing training with South West teams.

Carefully transitioning the workforce in this way enables us – from the very first day and the very first job – to deliver the quality of our service in the North East we know our existing customers in the South West value so highly.
