Newcastle expansion

6th March 2023

After much consideration and preparation... we’re excited to share news we’re expanding geographically! Giles is opening a new branch of Original Sash Window Solutions in Newcastle upon Tyne. It’s taken us 15 years to perfect our methodologies, our materials and our ways-of-working and we’re thrilled home-owners in the North East will soon be able to benefit from our service.

Paint finishing service

17th October 2022

We’re pleased to announce we’re adding a full painting service to provide one-stop-shop solution for customers that don’t have a trusted painter in the wings or would really rather deal with a single contractor. Our quick release system makes it simple for sashes to be removed for painting and it also enables us to overlap a painting service whilst we’re renovating the window too. This means the painting is done properly and with less disruption.

FENSA approved

5th May 2022

We’re delighted to report we’ve been approved by FENSA. Whilst we will always prioritise the preservation of sashes, there comes a time when replacement’s the correct option to take. FENSA accreditation means we can manufacture and install our own replacement windows (including the entire boxes where needed). This can be matched in style and bespoke to your property and without the need for building inspector approval as our accreditation enables us to self-certify our new windows.
